Site Review - Dalton Mailing

Focus on the homepage of this site Dalton Mailing Service.

What do you think about the navigation on the home page?

1. Do you think this is "Smart, Fast" navigation that will quickly get you where you need to go?

2. How much useful information is on this home page?

3. Given that people spend about 10 seconds on a site before they determine if it is what they are looking for, is this homepage design good business?

    1. yes i think this is simple enough to use, u click the button and you get to where you need to go.
    2. The homepage has no useful information except what it is. other then that you would have to get directed to a different page to find out more.
    3. not really, most people wont want to click the little buttons, but maybe

    1. It is kind of smart because it's more interactive (kinda) but it's not as fast cause you have to find out the link, you can't just click on it unless you had the button things memerized.
    2. It tells you what the siteis for but other than that there is no other info.
    3. It isn't good for the overall group of consumers but some people like this kind of site.
    But ya, overall not too good for buisness.

    the navigation is very straight forward and not complicated to understand at all. i think that the navigation methods will be very helpful and quick.. there is not much info. on the home page.. you have to click links to get more info. i am not sure, but i dont really care. yes it is.

    I don't really like it, because you can't immediately tell where the navigation is, or what each one is.

    1. No. It takes too long to read each one and find the one you want. To be faster, you would have to memorize the tabs.

    2. Not much useful info. You get that it is for mailing but that's it. You don't know where they are based or their prices.

    3. No. People may think that this is spam and not actually real. It looks like a bad advertisement, rather than a home page.

    2. The name and the slogan.
    3. Yeah, you don't have to search. You have choices and answers one click away.

    1. yes i think it is a very fast way to navigate all you have to do is click the button and it goes where you want it to.
    2.there is a lot of useful information on this site. it has a section of FAQ questions with the answers.
    3.No a lot of people want to click the links before they even know what they are looking for.

    - i don't think so i know i wouldn't want to click every button till i find what i want.

    It's a good design and it's simple to use but it takes you a little longer to find.

    You can figure the site out from the front.

    the navigation is horrible cause i don't automatically know what button goes where.
    they should just make a better navigation so i will use this company or something.
