Shopping Carts

Amazon.com is probably the most successful online store so reviewing their shopping cart will give us a good feel for what we are striving for in making a shopping cart/online purchasing tool.

Your goal is to analyze Amazon.com’s shopping cart system.

* Look at products
* Add them to your cart
* “Purchase” items (stop short of actually adding real information)

    The features of an online shopping cart include the ability to change and buy things online and all in a group so there is not multiple purchases.

    The features of an online store are that the store can list customer reviews and ratings. Also, the store can keep more updates online, and can ship things, so if buyers can't get to the store, or don't want to, the online store is great. These don't work with grocery stores though.

    1) the features are you can look at the product again and you can remove them if you want.
    2) online stores have no lines so it makes the experience. it is also better because you can do it from home.

    Cart= tells you what is in the cart, how much each one costs, other details of the product, to save it for later (buy it later) or delete it from the cart, quantity, gift wrap option etc..
    It gives you details of your soon-to-be purchase and allows you to edit it.
    Store= Items, Reviews, Ratings, Categories. You don't have to go to the store, or you can send things to your friends straight from the store..
    you can also get things you may not find in most stores (plus sizes, sold out things etc.)
    I like online shopping :D

    -shows you what you have bought (or about to buy) and the price for each and both.
    -it's ONLINE, you can go to the "store" (online) in your P.J.s and nobody will stare at you. ;) lol.
