Explain in your own words what this tool does, and what it means.
Why do you think the path is not directly from the source computer (yours) to the destination computer (the one you are typing into your browser.)? This would be much quicker.
When you look at the list of computers that the trace route goes through, what do you think would happen if one of those computers was down (meaning turned off, destroyed, having some other issue?)
Answer all of these questions completely with proper grammar, spelling, and capitalization.
It isn't a direct route because if one of the computers goes down then it wont work. If you make multiple routes then it won't be as easy to destroy.
ReplyDeleteThis tool tracks what computers the signal travels through. If it was directly from my computer to the computer it's going to them it could be messed up easier, so it travels through several computer so that if one is down then it can always find another route. If one of the computers was down then it would just go through another.
ReplyDeleteIt traces the route of the website you are retrieving and shows you the path of it.
ReplyDeleteBecause there is no direct cord to mine to the website. so it goes through others to get to it.
It would have to go a different route and may take longer to find it.
